Goodbye 2012, Hello 2013

Ah I was wanting to write this a LONG time ago (ok only 4 days but still) but my internet was down! Tada! Now Im back in action! Well we said goodbye to 2012, so I figure it only right to do a run down of last year and a preview of this year!

2012 wasn't a horrible year! I think I spent the most of the beginning of the year stressing about December 21 2012. Yes I was one of those paraniod people in the get go.. But I have a legitamit excuse, I have kids! It scares me beyond belief to think I couldn't do SOMETHING to protect my littles from danger. Thats a terrible phobia of mine! Well, then into the year a few months, I decided I wanted to go back to school, so the CNA program was a MUST.

Let me tell ya, I would never have thought I would ENJOY the elderly people! I made some great friendships from my fellow students, I got an insite on what the future would bring in this career choice, and made some special bonds with amazing residents! And let me tell you it was GREAT! Then I had to get my butt in gear and apply for the LVN program at the college since my amazing mother gave me the opprotunity to go back to school, daycare fees FREE!! And we had our friends Dainnie and Chooch's wedding to go to!! That was a blast in itself! Landin was pushing a year old at this point!!

June came around and it was Landins big one year old bash! We enjoyed some great moments with some amazing friends and family! We have such a great support group for our family! I am beyond thankful for these family  members and our amazing friendships we have!

Then it was August. Summer was coming to a close. The 21st I would start school, a scary thing. And The 30th was the day my little princess turned a BIG THREE years old!! Agian a successful party with friends and family at our side.

September till the end of November I was in school 5 days a week. I spent many nights up until 1am, crying, stressing, laughing, and mainly studying for Pharmacology and Nursing Fundamental exams. In between the stressful days, I came home, cooked, cleaned, and bonded with my babies. We had All Hallows Eve to celebrate. We had a Turkey day to plan. I can tell you that I was ESTATIC when the first week of December rolled around.

December I spent relaxing. Lazy mornings on the couch with a cup of coffee and my babies at my side, watching cartoons and never changing out of our pajamas. The end of the month Santa and Mrs. Clause were busy getting ready for christmas time to spoil babies who have been great all year! We got a great visit by our amazing Uncle (brother) Cliff and Auntie (sister) Tara. And ended the year by spending a lot of time with my sister-in-law Samantha, sister Megan, and the girls Brookie and Phita. And we brought in the new year with a celebration at a friends house. Surrounded by kids and adults. The perfect way to do it!

Now with 2013 rolling in, I have a lot of goals and things to look forward to! In 7 months, I will be graduating, something I haven't done since 2005. I will be fulfilling my dream of being a nurse! My son will be turning TWO whole years old and my daughter will be 4 in August!!! She will hopefully be in a Pre-K class and mommy will hopefully get a job to help support my amazing family! I cannot wait to live a GREAT life this year!! So here is to 2013 being an AMAZING YEAR!!
